Lunch...

While Valerie was out shopping I decided to step out for lunch. There's a place called John's Grill about a block and a half from here that is supposedly mentioned in "The Maltese Falcon". There's also a dish called "Sam Spade's Lamb Chops".

I had something that came touted as one of their signature dishes: the Lamplighter. It consists of sole wrapped around a filling of shrimp and crab meat. Accompanying this were sauteed green beans and carrots. Definitely worth the trip, and easy to see why their sign says "Since 1908".
